What makes HDC Calgary stand out?

 Our coaches and staff have many years of hockey knowledge and training that will help your player develop their hockey skills. 


What is the maximum number of participants for development programs?

On-ice sessions are capped at 14 skaters. Other programs may vary by format and skill level to keep quality high.

What is the average cost per development session?

Most sessions average about $45. Pricing can vary by program and session type.


Can I pay drop in instead of a full program?

Yes. We can work with your budget. Email info@calgaryHDC.ca and we’ll help you find the right option.


Is the 3 on 3 league considered a rogue league?

No. Players from all teams are free to join. Our 3 on3 games and tournaments  are considered development and will not cause any issue in any league.


How long are most development programs?

Most programs run 10 weeks with 1 hour per session.


Can I attend HDC development programs, skill sessions if I play community hockey?

Yes. Our programs are supplemental to community hockey. Players will not be suspended or reprimanded for joining.


Are you regulated?

Yes. Our programs and events follow the standards, rules, and regulations set by Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta.
